Enthusiastic Service
Enthusiastic Service is a ministry of Journey that helps connect our members to our local communities through Serving. Most ministry in this department is done outside of the 4 walls of the church, which will help you get the hands-on experience of building relationships with local organizations and learn how to plan volunteer events. We also help you learn effective models of volunteer program structure and how to establish healthy volunteer culture within organizations.

I had great leaders totally geared towards my growth and they were super intentional about it in every way. Many tools I can even bring into my personal life outside of church/school. The area was extremely new, and I literally had no idea what I was getting myself into. However, my leaders completely guided me the whole way through and made sure I didn’t fall off the path. I think something that made my internship feel so great was the intentionality and number of one-on-ones we had throughout each week. I never felt like I was doing it alone or had to carry all the weight. The internship felt like the true reality of being part of a church that works together and uses our different abilities toward something greater.
